Event Description A new type of multiple-day event series where students explore ideas through direct engagement with written works, lectures, workshops and gallery showings of one invited guest – Paul Laseau.
Paul Laseau the co-author of "Visual Notes" will visit campus and engage the students and faculty in a series of workshops that will present a set of tools and techniques with which to view their ongoing studies. In workshops Professor Laseau will engage with students to teach them some basic methods to express their ideas clearly and concisely. The students would then create work or works related to their current interests or coursework. The works produced will be shown in a supplemental exhibit adjacent to the work of the invited guest and on view for the exhibition closing. In order to participate students will be asked to sign up to receive a book and have time to peruse it before Professor Laseau comes to campus.
