The Baiada Institute for Entrepreneurship is the cradle of entrepreneurship at Drexel University. Open to all students, Baiada provides student entrepreneurs the physical space, mentoring, and resources to start their first (or next) big thing. The Baiada Institute translates the Close School of Entrepreneurship’s groundbreaking curriculum into disruptive ideas led by innovative companies, created by Drexel students from all academic disciplines.
The New Business Forum will begin with remarks from the Close School’s Associate Dean, Ian Sladen and Assistant Dean/Baiada Institute Director, Chuck Sacco. Opening remarks will include information about the resources offered by the Close School and Baiada Institute available to all Drexel students regardless of major. These offerings include the entrepreneurship co-op, elective coursework, academic minors, competitions, workshops and professional mentoring. The New Business Forum will feature presentations by six companies currently participating in the Entrepreneurship Co-op and incubating in the Baiada Institute.
