Event Description
THIS DISCUSSION IS OPEN TO EVERYONE.
More than 50 years after the nation's civil rights movement, we are again in the grips of terrible unrest. In a nation already hurting from the insidious and wide-sweeping COVID-19, George Floyd's death, following the fatal shooting of jogger Ahmaud Arbery and Amy Cooper's 911 call from Central Park, has sparked outrage and anger that serves to highlight what a grossly unequal society we are still living in. What now? How do we combat a lifetime of rage and injustice?
