Event Description
Join a discussion of the paper “Characteristics of Registered Clinical Trials Assessing Treatments for COVID-19: A Cross-Sectional Analysis” by Hemalkumar B Mehta and colleagues from Johns Hopkins University.

Drexel faculty and students are welcome to take part in this discussion.

Edward Gracely, PhD, associate professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at Dornsife, will discuss the paper, which was published in BMJOpen on June 9, 2020.

The researchers analyzed 201 clinical trials for drugs or plasma that, as of March 26, had been registered under ClinicalTrials.gov and in the international clinical trials registry. They found that many of these trials had substantial short comings in their design.
