Event Description We all know how important self-care and work-life balance are when it comes to being productive and tackling those never ending to do lists we all have. And we all want to age gracefully. Having the tools available to understand some of the best strategies for healthy aging for ourselves and caring for our aging loved ones is paramount.
Come join the Drexel Administrative Professional Learning Community on Thursday, June 23 at 12 p.m. for a Virtual Brown Bag Lunch & Learn Networking Event: Healthy Aging: Strategies for Aging & Caring for Aging Loved Ones.
Featured at this discussion is Dr. Kristine Mulhorn, Chair of the Health Administration Department and a Teaching Professor for the College of Nursing Health Professions at Drexel. Dr. Mulhorn will cover strategies for healthy aging, including several types of functioning that have new meaning as we age. Some questions to be explored: How is functioning understood by health professionals when considering long-term care options? What are the various long-term care options available? What are some resources of information about the services available in my geographical area?
