Shostakovich V

Emmanuel Chabrier and Dmitri Shostakovich were composers of diametrically opposed outlooks on life. Chabrier’s España and Shostakovich’s epic Symphony No. 5 dominate the program, which will include the winner of the 5th Annual Solo Competition, bassist Berk Soykan.
