Event Description
The Drexel English Language Center in the College of Arts and Sciences is excited to host a cohort of twelve students from Ulster University in Belfast, Northern Ireland from June 24 through July 19. The students will participate in a cultural immersion program focusing on American sociopolitical issues.
During their time here, the Ulster students will delve into hot-button U.S. political issues through lectures, workshops, activities, and trips to gain a comprehensive understanding of America's cultural fabric and political landscape.
The center proudly invites our Drexel University community to attend:
"Constituent Issues Related to U.S. Political Culture; Affordable Housing; Gentrification," a lecture with Philadelphia City Council Member Jamie Gauthier, representing District 3, on July 12, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. in the Anthony J. Drexel Picture Gallery, Main Building. |
