Event Description

Brain-Based Career Development (BBCD) combines modern neuropsychological research with practical strategies for promoting critical thinking and problem solving which can support advisors, counselors and others to ensure meetings with students are effective.

Come learn about BBCD, its advising applications, and practice some of these easy strategies for enhancing your advising conversations to empower students to not only solve their current problems but also develop the awareness and structure for solving other issues they encounter in the future.

FOR STAFF and FACULTY  - This program is part of the Career Champions Program.  This program aims to educate, empower and lead staff and faculty across campus that are already having career conversations with students to have them informed by the resources, expertise and right referral point people at Steinbright.
