Event Description
On Wednesday, August 22, 2012, visiting scientists from the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding will present their research on the biology and conservation of the giant panda. Speakers will include Dr. Hou Rong, director of research, Dr. Lan Jingchao, director of the center's veterinary hospital, and Dr. Qi Dunwu, manager of the center's program to reintroduce giant pandas back into the wild.
The Chengdu Giant Panda Research Base is a non-profit organization engaged in wildlife research, captive breeding, conservation education, and educational tourism.
