Event Description Things are pretty shocking out there and we are facing countless transformations around us. This why for our August installation of TED Circle, we will be reflecting on the "How change happens". "Why do some large-scale crises jolt us awake and inspire us to change and evolve while others might jolt us a bit, but then it's back to sleep?" - Naomi Klein For this month's meeting, we will be discussing why don't today's non-stop shocks spur us into action? Why don't they produce leaps? What is the recipe for deep transformation catalyzed by shocking events? TED Circles are intimate virtual discussion groups centered on a curated talk and facilitated by a TEDxDrexelU officer. We will be hosting our inaugural session from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM EST on: August 17th, 2020. Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot now by applying here: https://tinyurl.com/y2dvjgal |
