LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Identify sentinal injuries in children and their role in early recognition of child abuse
  • Describe the outcomes related to missed diagnosis of child abuse
  • Describe the role of screening tools in identification of child abuse

TARGET AUDIENCE

Physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing personnel, fellows, residents, medical students and other health care professionals who take care of children
