Event Description
This panel discussion will feature minority students and alumni who have experience completing a fellowship. During this event we will discuss their experiences and learn about the process of applying and completing a fellowship. Ask questions and gain some insight on fellowships!
 
 Panelists include:
  • Amna Khalafalla (BA Sociology '22), Gilman Scholarship Recipient & Boren Alternate
  • Matthew Shirley (PhD student, Biomedical Engineering), NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, GEM Associate Fellowship, & NSF BTD Fellowship Recipient
  • Cherelle Connor (MS Biomedical Science ’19), DAAD RISE Pro & ThinkSwiss Recipient
  • Ophelia Wells (PhD student, Electrical and Computer Engineering), Marshall Scholar & NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Recipient
  • Nicole Bedoya (BA Global Studies '19), Fulbright ETA Fellowship Recipient
