Event Description
CASTLE Pedagogical Happy Hour is a program hosted by the Center for the Advancement of STEM Teaching and Learning Excellence (CASTLE) and sponsored by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI). The program features a current faculty member who will present a brief overview of an effective teaching strategy utilized in their classroom or laboratory, followed by audience Q&A and discussion.
The next CASTLE Pedagogical Happy Hour features Trish Gallagher, Ph.D. P.E., Associate Professor in Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering. The title of Trish’s talk is, “Benefits and Challenges of Moving a Flipped Class Online.”
