After graduating from Drexel and working on Killer Instinct and other games for Microsoft, Fornace designed and released the Super Smash Bros-style fighting game, Rivals of Aether, in 2017. With well over 600,000 units sold so far, Rivals of Aether has attracted a budding competitive tournament scene and now Dan's teams are turning the game into a franchise with more products.
