Event Description
Wildfires in the Western U.S. are burning at an
unprecedented scope and scale. Hurricanes are more frequent, and more
destructive, than ever before. We can no longer pretend that climate change is something
we need to start preparing for – the effects of climate change are here now,
and science knows what’s going on. We are seeing the increased frequency and
intensity of extreme weather events play out in the ways that climate
scientists have been warning us about since 1988. So, what happens next?
