Event Description
According to the Global CEO Survey by PwC, 79% of CEO’s are concerned with the availability of skills needed for business growth. Nearly 60% of employees, from this survey, feel that their skills will be out dated in 3 to 5 years. One answer that addresses both concerns is upskilling, developing new skills to meet the changing demands of jobs (and industries). Ask yourself, where is your organization in upskilling its workforce and, where are you in meeting the changing needs of your role within your organization? For those who have been furloughed, upskilling may be your path to competitiveness upon your return to your organization or, in your new career or organization.
Join us in a webinar discussion on “Upskilling: It’s Not Optional Anymore”, Wednesday, October 28 at 1:00 pm (EST). Leading the discussion will be Kena Sears-Brown, Director - Continuing Professional Education & Workforce Initiatives, Goodwin College of Professional Studies, Drexel University and, Philadelphia SHRM Board Member. Hear from alumni who have upskilled to advance their careers.
