Event Description
Leaders at all levels struggle when they lack the ability to identify and express emotions. For many who have thrived early in their career on technical knowledge and IQ, working with their emotions is often uncomfortable and unfamiliar territory. This webinar will uncover the power of emotional intelligence in leadership, and challenge leaders to tap into next-level intelligence to practice better self-management and handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. In addition, the session will identify the difference between personal competence — how you relate and manage your own emotions and social competence - how you relate to the emotions of others. At Goodwin College of Professional Studies, we believe that teaching people to better understand and use emotions underpins growth as a leader and the development of a variety of intrapersonal and interpersonal competencies.
