Research Title: Biopsychosocial Responses to 30 Minutes of Walking in Emerging Adult Women with Different Physical Activity Habits And BMI
Research Objectives: The Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences invites you to participate in a study to assess breathing and biomechanics during walking. During the study, individuals will be asked to answer physical activity questionnaires, to perform a maximal treadmill test, to walk short distances in the gait laboratory, and walk for 30 minutes on a treadmill.
Information for Research Subjects Eligibility: You must be a woman between 18 and 29 years old who participates in less than 90 minutes of physical activity per week. You must be healthy enough to
participate in physical activity.
Compensation: For participating in the first visit you will receive $10. For participating in the second visit you will receive an additional $20.
