Event Description
Conference on Community Writing 2019 is co-hosted by Drexel University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Drawn to a vision of higher education that connects with communities, CCW attendees are teachers, scholars, artists, and community organizers who use writing for education, personal revelation, public dialogue, and social change. 436 participants from 48 states attended the 2017 conference.
This year's theme is "Doing the Work." Writers Room Director Rachel Wenrick is co-chair.
