Are you interested in a career in STEM librarianship, whether health sciences or physical sciences? Want to check out Penn Libraries' Biomedical Library? Or do you just want to meet other Philly-based librarians and library students over light refreshments?
Join us for the first Annual Alice B. Kroeger Spotlight on STEM Librarianship event on Thursday, October 25 from 5-7 p.m. at Penn’s Biomedical Library, or join virtually via Zoom.
After a panel presentation on STEM Librarianship, attendees will have the chance to tour the Biomedical Library's 3D Printing Laboratory, hear about short and long-term renovation plans of the Biomedical Library, and enjoy a light reception.
This event is co-hosted by the University of Pennsylvania’s Biomedical Library, the Drexel University Library and Archives Student Association, the Philadelphia chapter of the Special Libraries Association, and Drexel’s Metadata Research Center. This event is open to students from Drexel and other area institutions, information professionals, as well as faculty and staff. In-person attendees will need to show photo ID to get into the Library.
