Learning Objectives
- Discuss the signs and symptoms of a concussion and elaborate a differential diagnosis
- Describe an appropriate, evidence-based approach to the initial evaluation of a concussion
- Describe an approach to the management of a mild concussion
- Discuss the management options for a complicated concussion and criteria for referral to a specialist

Physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing personnel, fellows, residents, medical students and other health care professionals who take care of children
