Event Description

**This is the last year to apply for the Whitaker International Program. The program will close December 2018.

The Whitaker International Program sends U.S. biomedical engineering (or bioengineering) graduate students and recent graduates overseas to undertake a self-designed project that will enhance their careers in the field.  Along with supporting grant projects in an academic setting, Whitaker International encourages grantees to engage in policy work and propose projects in an industry setting.

The goal of the program is to assist the development of professional leaders who are not only superb scientists, but who also will advance the profession through an international outlook.

This session will focus on specifics of how to apply to Whitaker, eligibility requirements and other information regarding the program.
