The Problem of Nomenclature [with] [in] [Computers and Writing] [Computers and Composition] etc.
Start Date: 11/10/2015Start Time: 3:30 PM
End Date: 11/10/2015End Time: 5:00 PM

Event Description
In this presentation, derived from a talk he gave at the 2015 Computers & Writing Conference, Scott Warnock, PhD, will discuss the nomenclature surrounding the use of digital technology in composition and writing studies.

What is and what should be happening with the terms that writing scholars and teachers use to characterize their work in digital settings?  Should members of the computers and compositions field be seeking new ways —and new terms — to describe and thus think about (and communicate to others) what they do?
