Veterans Day Tribute

Event Description
Please join us for a light lunch at 11:30am followed by our Veterans Day Tribute; this noon time gathering has become a tradition at Drexel, coordinated by the Office of Veteran Student Services and Army ROTC. This annual tribute includes military traditions and protocol, patriotic music and reflections. This year, our keynote speaker is former U.S. Army Colonel and Drexel ’72 alumnus Thomas Matthews who led American troops through the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu, immortalized in the book and movie “Black Hawk Down.”
