Event Description
CCI Corporate Partners Program presents a Lunch and Learn with BrickSimple: "Combining Wearables and IoT with the Arts"
In this presentation, BrickSimple CEO and Drexel alumnus Det Ansinn (BS Electrical Engineering, ’95) will review a Google Glass and IoT project that they worked on a few years ago with artist David Datuna. They will explore the experience working with an artist and new technology, and will also discuss the challenges they faced and how they overcame them, and how they made this project work for general audiences at a large scale. The artwork and project was featured at Art Basel and the National Portrait Museum, and was also included in an award-winning documentary.
Founded in 2002 by Drexel alumnus Det Ansinn (BS Electrical Engineering, ’95) BrickSimple has gained recognition as one of the leading boutique mobile, IoT, VR/AR, and wearable application developers in the United States. BrickSimple is headquartered in Doylestown with locations in Philadelphia, San Rafael, CA, and Cambridge, MA.
