Event Description

This workshop has been postponed! Please RSVP to this event if you want to be contacted about this workshop in the spring.

The Department of History is pleased to present the workshop "Public History: Historic Character Interpretation" with Sean Connolly of the Philadelphia Historic Center and the Artistic Director of the Manayunk Theatre Company. (That's him in the image as Thomas Jefferson).

In this workshop, you will learn about basic interpretive styles and programming. Volunteers can do performance exercises, too. Please RSVP so we know how much food to order.

Sean Connolly is also an adjunct professor in the Department of History and will be teaching a winter course Performing History: Historic Character Development (MW 12-1:50 p.m.).
