National Transgender Day of Remembrance
Start Date: 11/15/2012Start Time: 6:30 PM
End Date: 11/15/2012End Time: 9:00 PM

Event Description
Please join Drexel University in observation of National Transgender Day of Remembrance. All over the world, people gather on this day to, every year, to pay respect to those needlessly killed by hate crimes against the transgender community, and to call attention to the violence faced by gender-variant people.

The program includes a message from Erica Deuso, a Drexel Graduate and a panel of transgender or gender-variant Drexel students. The program will end with a vigil to memorialize and remember those who were lost to transgender hate-crimes.

This is a CEO-LEAD Certified Event.
