Event Description
This symposium is designed to provide
gastroenterologists, primary care physicians,
NPs, PAs and nurses who are involved in the
management of liver patients with the most
recent information currently available, especially
covering in depth the 2016 Annual Meeting of the
American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases:
The Liver Meeting, held November 11-15, 2016,
in Boston.
After attending the program, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss the most recent hepatitis B and C treatment
recommendations.
- Identify treatments and management of cirrhosis
complications.
- Recognize new information on management of
primary biliary cholangitis and other autoimmune
liver diseases.
- Describe updated information about alcoholic and
non-alcoholic liver disease.
- Identify indications for liver transplantation and
liver assist support patients.
