Event Description
Academy educators and dinosaurs will be in the spotlight at the Scholar Search Educational Forum in Philadelphia on November 19. Don’t miss Academy Dinosaur Hall Coordinator and paleo-illustrator Jason Poole’s talk on unearthing giant dinosaurs around the world. Then join Teacher Naturalist Mike Kaczmarczik for a Dino CSI student activity.
The free full-day forum is open to intellectually curious students (grades 4–12) and their parents and includes presentations that address new media and its impact on education, the Impostor Syndrome, and controlling anxiety for healthy educational objectives. Students can participate in interactive workshops on such topics as creative problem solving, making movies, ways to tackle the SAT and ACT, and, of course, dinosaurs.
