Event Description
The Fall 2016 Graduate Writing Retreat is a one-day event open to all graduate students working on any type of writing project. The retreat is especially helpful for students who are working on a longer or intensive project (dissertation, thesis, capstone, comprehensive exams, journal article, term paper, personal statement, etc.)
The Graduate Writing Retreat will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 10am to 5pm, in the Graduate Student Lounge (Main Building). The goal of the retreat is provide students with the quiet time and space needed to focus and write. We’ll also check in at the beginning and end of the retreat to discuss goals and progress, and throughout the day you’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a Graduate Writing Consultant to talk about your project and any challenges you are encountering.
The cost to participate is $50, which includes lunch, coffee, and refreshments.
