Don't Make it Awkward: Confident Conference Networking

Event Description
From finding contacts to making conversation to staying connected, this workshop will provide tips for making networking meaningful. Students will be challenged to create a 30 second "elevator pitch" responding to the common question "So, what do you do?" Learn the keys to tactful networking along with easy-to-use strategies for face-to-face conversations and making email connections that can be put to use during the APHA conference and beyond.

  • Caroline Voyles, MPH, director of Student Placement and Partnership Development at Dornsife
 
This workshop is part of Dornsife's Professional Development Series offered by Student Affairs and the Office of Public Health Practice. It is open to all Dornsife undergraduates and graduate students.
