End Date: 11/22/2016End Time: 2:00 PM

Event Description
This CLE presentation will be a unique review of the largest monetary settlement of a railroad disaster in American history, by members of the plaintiffs management committee led by its chairperson, Tom Kline.

This program will travel the road from disaster to formation of a multidistrict litigation (MDL) to raising the limitation of damages from $200 million to $295 million to the historic $265 million settlement.

The program will highlight the features of the settlement program, unique in federal multidistrict litigation history. The program will be presented by Tom Kline, along with Robert Mongeluzzi, Fred Eisenberg and Chip Becker, lawyers who are all intimately familiar with the process and the settlement program.
