End Date: 2/15/2017End Time: 5:00 PM

Event Description
“Climate change, once considered an issue for a distant future, has moved firmly into the present…we know with increasing certainty that climate change is happening now.”

– 2015 National Climate Assessment, a report produced by a team of over 300 experts guided by a 60-member Federal Advisory Committee and extensively reviewed by the public and experts, including federal agencies and a panel of the National Academy of Sciences.

Though 97 percent of climate scientists agree that the world is warming due to human actions, climate change remains a strongly debated topic. Given the potential for a major policy shift in the United States, the College will host a panel of scientists to discuss solutions to the climate challenges facing human society, both today and into the future. Please join us for a robust panel discussion on the science behind the issues and what we can all do in the coming years.
