Event Description

The Office of Global Engagement's Spotlight on…Series provides a forum for faculty to share their international research and global activities with the Drexel community, receive feedback on ways to strengthen or leverage their research, and raise awareness of the importance for international research. Each event will bring together faculty from different disciplines.

Spotlight On… in March will feature the following faculty:

Gena Ellis, PhD, AIA | Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering; Architecture, Design & Urbanism
“Responsive Urban Environments: The Case Study of Porta Genova in Milan”

Sean O’Donnell | Biodiversity, Earth & Environmental Science; Biology
“Tropical immersion: Engaging students with biodiversity”

Joyce Pittman, PhD | Higher Education; Educational Leadership and Management
“Global Teach Connection: Migration, Language, and Education Policy in Global Contexts”

Jaeyoon Jeong | Design
“Drexel’s Engagement in Korean Fashion”

Harriet Millan | English and Philosophy
“Haiti Summer Creative Writing Intensive and Recent Creative Activity Award Research Trips to Ukraine and Israel”

Each will present their work, and there will be plenty of time for Q&A.

Light breakfast will be served.

Please RSVP here.
