Event Description
Celebrate the last day of classes and join informal cross-disciplinary conversations with Drexel faculty and professional staff over drinks and refreshments at this quarter's ScholarSip event.
 
Jonathan E Spanier, PhD will offer a brief presentation, "Making the Most of the Sun," on the outlook for and new developments in solar photovoltaic energy. Dr. Spanier is an associate professor of materials science & engineering and a member of the new AJ Drexel Institute for Energy and the Environment. He is internationally known for his research and expertise in how light interacts with matter, in new environmentally friendly and earth-abundant oxide materials, and in new thin film science and technology, with applications in energy and electronics.
