Event Description This interactive program, held on International Women's Day, will highlight Drexel University's multidisciplinary research focused on sex and gender in a local, national and global context.
Keynote speakers include:
- Harper Jean Tobin, Esq, Director of Policy of the National Center for Transgender Equality
- Jean Lau Chin, EdD, professor at Adelphi University, expert in diversity and women’s leadership issues.
Other presentations from Drexel University faculty and students include flash talks, research talks, an interdisciplinary educational panel, and a virtual poster session. The University-wide forum is jointly sponsored by the Laurencin Family Foundation and by Drexel University’s Institute for Women’s Health and Leadership, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, Dornsife School of Public Health, Maternal and Child Health Working Group of the Dornsife School of Public Health, Office of International Programs, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Department of Psychology, College of Medicine’s Office of Research and by the Laurencin Family Foundation.
