Event Description
Join the Drexel Women in Computing Society (WiCS) and faculty advisor Associate Teaching Professor Thomas Heverin, PhD, CISSP for a cybersecurity focused event. This hands-on workshop will show tips and tricks in cyber forensics starting with a piece of forensics evidence: a hash for file connected to a malware attack. Workshop attendees will learn how to investigate suspicious files, processes, URLs and more all with free online resources. We will use sites like VirusTotal, US CERT, and others. Attendees can register for VirusTotal for free at virustotal.com 

No previous experience is required!
