Event Description

April is Earth Month at Science Live. Meet the scientists from the Patrick Center for Environmental Research and learn how they study the environmental health of streams, lakes, and wetlands.

The scientists will work at Science Live on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons. The work changes every day, but may include anything from identifying aquatic insects and other invertebrates, to examining microscopic plants in a microscope, to preparing fish for analyzing toxins, or preparing wetlands sediment scores from wetlands for study.
