Event Description
Join us for a screening and conversation with the filmmakers behind "Breaking the Cycle: From Halden to Attica," a trailblazing documentary on punishment in Norway and the U.S. You can view the doc on Netflix!

 

John Stark and Tomas Lindh (YLE, the Finnish Broadcasting Company) will speak about their work creating media with an innovative perspective. Dr. Synøve Andersen (Statistics Norway) will provide commentary on Norwegian prisons.

Dinner will be provided. RSVP not required but requested to jhyatt@drexel.edu by April 25th.

This event will be co-sponsored by the Department of Criminology & Justice Studies, and the Screenwriting & Playwriting program, as well as the Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
