“Good Morning, Neighbors” Hosts the Lancaster Avenue 21st Century Business Association

Event Description

Radio station WKDU-FM (91.7) will broadcast an interview with Mr. Kwaku Boateng, the executive director of the Lancaster Avenue 21st Century Business Association (LA21) on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at 9:00 a.m.

LA21 is a nonprofit organization that promotes economic development, beautification and new business ventures in the Lancaster community by partnering with stakeholders in the area. Drexel students Jane-Janette Ansah, Fatimah Seyed-Ali, Melanie Huot, Aarohaa Satyal, Garrett Miades, Seth Zurlo and Ian Norris produced, hosted and recorded the series of radio interviews with local nonprofit organizations in Drexel’s neighborhood in the winter term of 2019.

The series is titled “Good Morning, Neighbors” and will air on Drexel’s WKDU-FM (91.7) in the spring term 2019. The interview with LA21 will be rebroadcast on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at 9:00 am and archived as a podcast on WKDU.org.
