Building Complex Imagery with a Personal Mark
Instructor: Josh Weiss, Associate Teaching Professor
Using basic studios methods students will develop a collage of sourced imagery and surfaces. The collage method will produce a dynamic two-dimensional design. Using this design as a foundation, students will translate the collage imagery into a linear and shape-based image using their own personalized line, shape and rendering methods. The workshop will explore basic strategies to build creativity and complexity in a two-dimensional image.
