Join the Faculty Institutional Recruitment for Sustainable Transformation (FIRST) program for their Health Equity Seminar series, a Drexel-wide forum to discuss exciting work and ideas related to health equity.
This monthly series includes Drexel-based and invited external speakers whose work is relevant to health disparities research, ranging from etiology to intervention and policy.
In May, attendees will hear from Dr. Margarita Alegria, PhD, Professor of Medicine & Psychiatry at
Harvard Medical School and Chief of the Disparities Research Unit at the
Massachusetts General Hospital, who will present "Advancing Racial Equity in the
Academic Health Sciences: Findings from a 14-Month Learning Assessment."
