Title:
Empowering Healthcare Consumers with Timely Insights to Their Diagnostic Test Results

Speaker:
Jay Srinivasan
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Truvian Sciences

Details:
Diagnostics testing is much broader than what the world was exposed to during a global pandemic. Blood tests are key to routine and preventive care, as approximately 70% of all clinical decisions depend on lab tests for diagnosis or treatment. Routine blood tests can help detect potential health risks early when diagnosis and treatment are most effective.

In the US alone, over 7 billion annual out-of-hospital tests are performed via an antiquated, opaque and friction laden centralized lab system that is also slow and expensive. From the multiple weeks needed to get a doctor’s appointment, to the numerous visits needed to complete a test, 24 hours+ wait for test results, or the frequently missed opportunity to discuss results with one’s physician, this process is unlike anything that consumers in a modern, digital world are used to. What if, you were able to conveniently get key results and sit down with your doctor to review them during your visit. This would not only lead to better and faster treatment protocols, but also help decrease healthcare costs and congestion in the system.

That is what Truvian’s first-in-class platform intends to do. We have combined proven technologies across three different testing methodologies (chemistry, immunoassay, and hematology) and miniaturized it into a single instrument with a footprint no bigger than a gaming desktop. The Truvian platform can complete an entire annual test panel in minutes so that you and your doctor can review the results together. This is a gamechanger in diagnostics as it will bring the capabilities of the central lab to private clinics, retail, fitness centers, office buildings, schools, arenas, and other non-traditional healthcare settings.

Truvian’s vision is to make routine diagnostics, convenient, affordable, and actionable for today’s consumers.
