Learning Objectives

  • Discuss old and new classification schemes for generalized epilepsy and their limitations
  • Discuss different types of generalized seizures and both well-described and less well-described epilepsy syndromes
  • Discuss the comorbidities associated with epilepsy and the effects of epilepsy on quality of life

Target Audience
DUCoM faculty, all physicians, fellows, residents, medical students, PAs, CRNPs, RNs; all medical specialties
