End Date: 6/11/2019End Time: 3:00 PM

Event Description

Please join us for a pop-up exhibition in the A.J. Drexel Picture Gallery on Drexel University's diverse history. Curated by students in Scott Knowles' course the History of Drexel University, this pop-up exhibition features student-selected areas of focus such as women at Drexel, LGBTQIA+ students at Drexel, working class students, international students, etc. The students were tasked with conducting research in the University archives and identifying primary sources to support their topics. The final projects are the materials displayed in this pop-up exhibition where the students will present their findings.

This pop-up exhibition is the first part of an ongoing project culminating in a full exhibition on the diversity at Drexel in December of 2020 in the Rincliffe Gallery, Main Building. Key faculty and staff members involved in the course and projects were Scott Knowles, Alden Young, Alissa Falcone, Matthew Lyons, Jesse Brody, Dylan Lafferty, Lynn Clouser and Christopher Bertone.
