Event Description
All therapists and counselors are guided by a code of ethics which must be strictly adhered to in order to ensure that the people we serve are receiving the highest level of care. However, when ethics are applied in practice, there often exists some “grey area” where the ethical boundaries and ethical decision making is not as clear. This workshop will focus on three areas in which those ethical boundaries may become blurred during the course of clinical practice. The three main topics of this workshop will focus on the ethical boundaries within therapeutic and professional relationships, including self-disclosure, physical contact and e-professionalism.
