Event Description

Aging is often thought of as a negative process, however there are important benefits that are largely uncelebrated. We will explore the privilege of aging and ways to do it well through a series of presentations by Drexel Students. Through the workshops, we will understand:

the basic underlying structure and function of selected organ systems
the basics of the normal changes associated with the process of aging in these organ systems
that aging is a privilege and that we should be respect the privilege we have been given by being careful to protect ourselves through the process
the basics of the ways we can protect our privilege
