Event Description
In a state of uncertainty, it is critical for higher education institutions to be able to pivot teaching quickly and seamlessly across on-campus, blended, and online formats. During this webinar, panelists Dr. Kristen Betts, Dr. Bill Lynch, and Dr. Jennifer Adams will share best practices for student engagement, transfer of learning, and balancing workload and cognitive load across learning formats.
Specific topics include:
  • Strategies to shift instruction, active learning, assessment, multi-modality feedback, and instructional equivalencies across all formats
  • Methods to support international students within and outside of higher education
  • The critical role of Design Based Research and Instructional Design to achieve desired learning outcomes and support dynamic learning approaches through faculty/staff professional development
