Event Description
“Pop, the Question” [https://www.popqpodcast.com], Pennoni Honors College’s pop culture podcast, will hold a live recording event (free and open to the public, 21 and over) as part of the 7th Annual Philadelphia Podcast Festival [http://www.phillypodfest.com/schedule].
At last year’s Philadelphia Podcast Festival, “Pop, the Question” delved into “Guilty Pleasure Songs” [https://thekey.xpn.org/2019/05/30/music-podcasts-philadelphia-podcast-festival/] (everything from Barry Manilow, power ballads, and Blink 192). This year, podcast host Dr. Melinda Lewis and three guests from the Drexel University community will discuss a small band you’ve probably never head of…The Beatles!
Earlier this year, Lewis and her guests listened to and rated over 200 Beatles songs. At this live episode recording, the group will present the data of their research, lessons learned, and whether they came out fans or naysayers of the iconic band. |
