Event Description
Please join STONEWALL @  50 co-curator David Acosta for a guided tour of the exhibition. STONEWALL @ 50 gathers 60 LGBTQ artists for the largest group exhibition of queer artists in Philadelphia history. The exhibition comprises 112 works of art including painting,  drawing, photography, video, sculpture, fiber work and performances which took place during the opening reception.
 
The guided tour will cover information on the origins and organization of the exhibition as well as detailed discussions of the work of the artists who submitted work specifically created for this exhibition as well as some work that speaks to LGBTQ culture and politics covering the last 50 years since the Stonewall uprising.
